One of humans’ fav dish, mac and cheese, a classic comfort food that has been enjoyed by people all over the world for generations. But can dogs have mac and cheese? Regrettably, mac and cheese is not recommended for dogs. While cheese is generally safe for dogs in small amounts, mac and cheese typically contains high amounts of cheese, butter, and other ingredients that can be harmful to your dog’s health.
Mac and cheese is also high in fat and calories, which can lead to obesity and other health problems in dogs. The pasta in mac and cheese is also not necessary for a dog’s diet and may cause digestive upset or constipation.
